  1. Karen, could you do me a favor? I am also a librarian as well as a genie nut. I have found one of my surnames: ABBOTT in the Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy. They are listed in Wilmington and Clear Creek. My roots are John D Abbott married Phebe Brown - Their child Wayne "Elsworth" Abbott married Lorena "Minnie" Brewer. They had several children, but Ray is whom I am connected with. Would you be willing to look these people up and see if you could find more info.? John D. is my stumper - I would LOVE to find out who his parents are. In the 1850 census [OH} there is a May Abbott listed with a John who is around the age of what John D. should be, but I am not certain. If you find anything please email: carcar@att.net

    THANKS!! Carolyn
